Cheyenne’s newest restaurant was bringing a level of sophistication to the city’s culinary options, but still wanted to feel approachable and inviting to anyone who walked in. This food revolution deserved a brand that celebrated the art of culinary arts, so when The Metropolitan tapped us to develop their brand, we looked for inspiration in all of their artful decisions—from the smears on the plates to the rich green velvet booths.
Taking up residence in a historic downtown building, they wanted a logo inspired by the art deco influence and a brand design that balanced a classic and modern feeling. The icon we created accomplished just that, simultaneously working as an M, a crown, and a folded napkin.
We completed the project with signage and installation, photography, and even naming their separate event space to ensure that every element was cohesive and inspiring. Now it’s one of our favorite places to take clients—and trust us, ask for a margarita.
